New Travel Date for Robin Lowery (Honduras)

Ministry Update
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I am excited to be able to share with you some new updates.
On January 3rd, I was honored that my home church, McLeansboro First General Baptist Church, held a commissioning ceremony for me. It was great to be prayed over by my church family and to know that they are such a huge part of this journey, as are all of you. I greatly appreciate your continued prayers and encouragement. I am also happy to announce that I am now 98% funded!

However, I also have some news that is a little disappointing. At the end of October, I received my flight information and was scheduled to leave for Honduras on January 11th. However, right before Christmas I found out that the airline canceled my ticket because the airport in Honduras had not reopened for international travel due to the flooding damage from the two hurricanes that hit Honduras in November. Though I am disappointed that my departure has been delayed, I am thankful that I can use this extra time to continue learning Spanish and spending time with my family. I am working on getting all my bags packed, so I will be ready to go as soon as I am able to book a new plane ticket. It looks like that should happen at the beginning of February.
Prayer Requests & Praises
I am thankful to have partners in this ministry who are willing to not only offer financial support, but are willing to lift both myself and this ministry up in your prayers.
The following are current prayer needs:
prayers for language learning
prayers for additional ministry partners
prayers to become 100% funded
prayers that Honduras remains open and I will be able to move in February
language learning is going well
time spent with my family during the holidays
we serve an awesome God who is in control of everything!
I want to thank everyone again for your support and encouragement. Please let me know if you have any prayer requests. I would love to be able to pray for you as well. As always, I would love to hear from you so please feel free to e-mail me back!
