Historical Series: The Tropical Isle (1929)

Arthur and Edith Logan

The Tropical Isle: A Twenty Years’ History of the Baptist Mission in Guam was published by the Women’s Missionary Conference in 1929. It covers the story of the General Baptist work on Guam from the time of our first missionaries Arthur and Edith Logan (sections of the book are written by them) to Dale Tennison. It is a fascinating read by all who enjoy history and/or missions. A special thanks to Vicki Smith, Director of General Baptist Women’s Ministries for permission to digitize this valuable work.
