Yeomans Update June 2021 (West Africa)

Hi everyone, hope your week is going well! It’s been a busy week here, between traveling to the village and working at the school as they wrap up the school year. Elementary School will finish up tomorrow, and they will have a closing assembly and awards day on Monday morning. Finals week is next week for Emily, and her last official day is Thursday, but they have no school on Wednesday. Graduation for the seniors will be held on Thursday night. Many people will be leaving next week, or the week after, to travel home for the summer. Please remember all the students and families in your prayers as they travel and get some rest. It has been quite a school year!

We will be helping the students in the village celebrate next Wednesday as they close out their school year, as well. Teacher friends, feel free to share great ideas for how we can celebrate these 400+ students! We are planning to recognize the top three students in each grade, and also provide a meal for all the students there before they leave for their break.

This time of year, food can become quite scarce for many people in the village. Pastor Zachary contacted me yesterday saying that he and his family had run out of food. One of his daughters has been sick, and so he had to use his money this month on medicine and doctors visits. Please remember his family in your prayers. He is ministering faithfully week after week in the village, and we are so thankful for the work he does.

Our family will be traveling to D**** on June 11th, where we will spend about a week in preparation for future outreach and ministry.

As we expand the ministry in West Africa, we are excited to see God work and open doors!

We are so grateful for our many prayer and financial supporters. We would not be where we are, doing what we do, without you! Thank you all so much! If you don’t already support us financially and would be interested in doing so, you can give online by going to and selecting our name from the drop-down menu.
