Yesterday, we took Baby Girl (a young girl from Faith Home who is in the States for surgery) to Shriner’s to see the surgeon. He was happy with how everything looked. The hip is in place and the incisions are healing well. She will be in the spica cast for another four weeks and then in a brace of some sort for a while.
She does not seem to be in pain most of the time. Sleeping is still not great most nights. She is up two or three times, but then, that cast has to be uncomfortable! She is getting leg cramps fairly regularly. Those are not good!
We praise God for the progress and pray that she will get past those leg cramps.
Also, Pastor Arnaldo (hospitalized with COVID) is doing better. He still has a ways to go, but the last photo I got he was sitting and smiling (a major improvement from just a few days ago).
