Christ for All Nations (CfAN) is sponsoring a day of prayer for Africa, which will be held on Friday, November 6. In addition to the requests they have mentioned on the attached poster (which you are free to print/share with others), we would like to ask you and/or your church to please pray specifically for the Sahel Region of Africa. We have a few prayer requests that we would greatly appreciate you remembering specifically on Friday, November 6.
*Pray for the American missionary, Philip, who was kidnapped from his home here in the early morning hours of October 27. He was rescued by US military forces on October 31.
*Pray for security in the region, not only from terrorists, but also from violence that may be a result of the hostility developing between France and many Muslim-majority countries. Much of what happens in Europe, and France in particular, has a great impact in West Africa.
*Pray for the health of our family, and for the people of Niger. Also, pray for the many people suffering from malaria, typhoid fever, cholera and other diseases, that they would be healed.
*Pray for those who continue to try to rebuild their lives after the flooding in September.
*Pray for strength and boldness in sharing the Gospel, even as we face many spiritual battles (which are quite fierce sometimes) at home, in the village, and in our classes as we teach English.
*Pray that our church registration with the government will be approved and that the process will continue to move forward without obstacles.
*Pray that the village of GB will be receptive of the Gospel as we proclaim His Word to them.
*Pray that persecution will not hinder the church, but will continue to move the church forward in Niger, throughout Africa, and around the world.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support for our family. We would not be here to share the Gospel without you!
God Bless you all!
