In 2021, we have many plans to move our church planting ministry forward, which means we will need your help! Nicole and I have worked with director Mark Powell on a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will enable churches, or Sunday School classes, or small groups of any size to partner with GBIM to help establish a church in a specific village in West Africa. The idea is to have a church in America “adopt” a village here, where that church can specifically pray for and minister to the people in their village, all while helping us establish new churches.
It will take a serious prayer commitment, as well as a financial commitment on a tiered scale. If you are a pastor and would be interested in your church looking at this proposal, please message me your email address and I will send it to you for review. If you are a small group leader or Sunday school teacher and think your class may be interested in partnering, please send me your email address and I will send it to you, as well.
With a continued increase in security risks in certain parts of the country, Nicole and I will be raising additional funds over the next few months to help us cover the cost of armed guards (on an as-needed basis) as well as other security measures that we will be taking in the next three to four months. Please be in prayer about these needs, and let us know if you can help with that, as well. As always, all gifts are tax-deductible to GBIM.
Thank you all, as always, for your prayers and continued support! We appreciate you all, and we are excited as we look at the year ahead! Vous avez tous un bon dimanche béni! (by Kris and Nicole Yeomans)
